Senior Developer – Automation Platform
Some developers want stability and predictable work. Others want hard problems, real responsibility, and the ability to build something that matters. This role is for the second group.

About us
We are a technology company of roughly 140 people building systems that digitalize healthcare and welfare services in Scandinavia. Our products support municipalities, care providers and healthcare organizations in their daily work.
Good software and strong engineers are critical to everything we do. We value curiosity, ownership and technical craftsmanship. Our teams are trusted to take responsibility and make decisions close to the technology.
Our culture is informal, collaborative and pragmatic. We care deeply about building robust products that make a real difference in society.
About the team
You will join a small, highly capable team of five, working on our automation platform. The team is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, with colleagues also located in Sweden.
Because the team is small, every member has significant influence and responsibility. We expect engineers who can think independently, challenge ideas and drive solutions forward.
This is not a large organization where work is handed to you in neatly defined tickets. You will help shape the technology, the architecture and the direction of the product.
About the product
The team builds and maintains an automation platform used to create advanced automation solutions for healthcare organizations in Denmark, Sweden and the US.
The system provides three main capabilities:
Contect manager - system to coordinate and synchronise state of desktop applications
Attended automation - automation to assist a user directly on the desktop
Unattended automation = automation done on a server behind the scen
The platform can automate many kinds of workflows, but our focus on healthcare gives us a unique advantage. Because we deeply understand the processes our customers are automating, we can build solutions that create real impact in everyday healthcare operations.
The work is technically challenging and often involves solving complex automation problems rather than routine feature work.
About the role
This role requires strong technical capability and a genuine interest in building robust systems.
Much of the work revolves around architecture, problem analysis, and building solutions to technically complex challenges. There is relatively little routine work and a high degree of ownership.
You will primarily work with backend systems and system infrastructure, but, if you like, also contribute to web components where needed.
The role is not customer-facing, but collaboration within the team and with other engineering groups is important.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced developer who enjoys difficult technical problems and takes pride in building well-designed systems.
You likely have:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field
Several years of professional development experience
Strong backend development skills
A deep interest in technology and system design
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for solutions
A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute to a small, high-performing team
Technologies we use
C#
TypeScript
Docker
Infrastructure and distributed systems
Experience with Go is a plus, but not required.
We care more about engineering ability and curiosity than about knowing every tool in the stack.
